Animaugust is a month long challenge that I stared back in 2021, where I try and animate a little something fun every day during the month of August, and anybody is welcome to join!

You can animate as much or as little as you would like, and you can share all of your fabulous creativity with these hashtags on social media: #animaugust or #animaugust2025.

Each year, I put together a long list of various prompts that you can choose from if you're stuck on ideas, but really you can animate anything you want, in any style you want, with any materials or software that you have! 

Whether you're new to animating or have been animating for years, Animaugust is for absolutely everyone!

As proof of this, my 11-year-old brother decided to join in on Animaugust last year, and even created an Animaugust videogame for this website!
